Federica Martini, PhD, is an art historian and curator. She has been curatorial associate at Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, Rivoli-Torino and Musée can- tonal des Beaux-Arts, Lausanne. Since 2009, she serves as a teacher and program coordinator of the Master MAPS – Arts in Public Sphe- res at Ecole Cantonal d’Art du Va- lais, Sierre. Recent projects include The Reading Sculpture (2009, with Carla Demierre and Didier Rittener), Slipping Glimpser (2011, Théâtre Arsenic), Incongruous (Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts/Lausanne), and the book Just Another Exhibition: Stories and Politics of Biennials (2011, postmediabooks, Milan, co-authored with Vittoria Martini).
